A flashback reveals Naoya Zenin’s childhood, when he was hailed as a prodigy destined to lead the Zenin clan. However, his arrogance was shaken the day he encountered Toji Zenin, the infamous “sorcerer killer” and outcast of the family. Toji’s cold, unfeeling gaze left a deep scar on Naoya’s pride, though he vowed to one day stand among the strongest alongside Satoru Gojo.
In the present, Naoya faces Maki Zenin, whose recent transformation — following Mai’s sacrifice — has granted her strength on par with Toji’s. Enraged by this, Naoya refuses to accept that a “failure” like Maki could rival the legend he once feared.
Naoya unleashes his Projection Sorcery, accelerating his movements frame-by-frame, chaining attacks at supersonic speeds. Despite sustaining multiple injuries, Maki’s refined physical prowess allows her to deflect many of his strikes. The fierce battle escalates as both fighters push toward their limits in a deadly clash for supremacy.
