Kinji Hakari sits down with Yuji Itadori, striking up a conversation about his personal philosophy — his love for “fever,” a metaphor symbolizing the exhilarating rush of risk, ambition, and rebellion against the status quo. Hakari envisions a future where he can control the nation’s fever by expanding his underground fight club and exploiting the instability within the jujutsu world.
However, as the conversation progresses, Hakari grows suspicious of Yuji, sensing he might be a spy sent by Jujutsu High to monitor him. Yuji tries to maintain his composure and explain his intentions, but Hakari refuses to listen.
Acting on instinct and distrust, Hakari activates his cursed technique and attacks Yuji, determined to eliminate what he perceives as a threat. The situation rapidly escalates into a confrontation, forcing Yuji to defend himself against the powerful and unpredictable sorcerer.
