After Yuji Itadori endures Hakari Kinji’s brutal test of resolve, Hakari finally listens as Yuji and Megumi explain the gravity of the current crisis: Satoru Gojo has been sealed, and Masamichi Yaga has been killed by the jujutsu higher-ups. The shocking news visibly unsettles Hakari, but he remains composed.
Recognizing the threat posed by Kenjaku’s Culling Game, Hakari agrees to join their mission — but on one condition: the others will owe him a favor in the future. The team accepts, knowing they have little choice.
Megumi then reveals a major development: following the deaths within the Zenin clan, he has been named the new head of the Zenin family. This revelation stuns Hakari, as it means Megumi now wields significant authority within jujutsu society.
