Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 1 introduces us to Yuji Itadori, a seemingly average high school student with superhuman physical abilities. Blessed with incredible strength, stamina, and speed, Yuji spends most of his time helping his classmates and avoiding his school’s athletic clubs. But his life takes a dramatic turn when a sealed, cursed object is discovered at his school by his friends.
Despite clear warnings not to open it, Yuji is drawn into the danger and ends up releasing a malevolent curse. In a desperate attempt to protect his friends from the unleashed evil, he makes a bold and irreversible decision — he swallows the cursed object, which turns out to be a finger of Sukuna, the most powerful and feared Curse Spirit.
