The battle between Megumi Fushiguro and Reggie Star reaches a critical turning point as Megumi unleashes his Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden. This shadow-filled arena amplifies Megumi’s Ten Shadows Technique to 120% of its normal capacity, dramatically boosting his combat capabilities.
In response, Reggie counters by activating Hollow Wicker Basket, an anti-domain technique typically used to neutralize guaranteed-hit effects. However, Megumi’s domain is incomplete and lacks such a guaranteed-hit mechanic. Instead, it’s designed to maximize the offensive versatility of his shikigami and shadow manipulation.
Reggie, believing himself safe, is caught off guard when Megumi’s toads bind his legs, leaving him exposed to a barrage from shadow clones. The relentless assault forces Reggie into a defensive stance, though he quickly severs the toads’ tongues and summons a machete to retaliate.
Despite his counterattacks, Reggie struggles against the overwhelming onslaught of physically manifested shadows. As the battle intensifies, he realizes that Megumi’s domain, though incomplete, sacrifices traditional guaranteed-hit features in favor of brute force, speed, and relentless pressure, making it a deadly and unpredictable battleground.
