Yuta Okkotsu continues his battles in the Sendai Colony, now facing the formidable sorcerer Takako Uro. As they clash, Yuta uncovers the unusual mechanics of Uro’s cursed technique, which allows her to manipulate space itself, treating the sky like a tangible, pliable surface. Her technique distorts space, bypassing Yuta’s physical defenses and flinging him violently without leaving direct injuries.
Intrigued by her desperate aggression, Yuta questions Uro’s motives for fighting so recklessly. Their tense dialogue reveals Uro’s resentment toward the Fujiwara clan, accusing Yuta of being a descendant. She expresses her hatred and frustration as a reincarnated sorcerer dragged into the Culling Game, believing Yuta could never comprehend her suffering and desire for vengeance.
Before the conversation can escalate, Ryu Ishigori abruptly intervenes, firing a colossal Granite Blast to break up what he mockingly calls their “flirting.” Witnessing the sheer destructive power and vast attack range of Ryu’s technique, both Yuta and Uro instinctively realize they need to deal with him.
Yuta takes the initiative, closing the distance by using the wreckage left behind from Rika’s earlier attacks as cover. Skillfully dodging a volley of cursed energy beams, he manages to surprise Ryu and engage him in close combat, setting the stage for an intense, three-way showdown.
