In Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Chapter 76, the story shifts focus to Suguru Geto’s growing inner conflict and disillusionment as a jujutsu sorcerer. Following the tragic death of Riko Amanai, Suguru arrives to find Satoru Gojo standing amidst a crowd of Star Religious Group worshippers, holding Riko’s lifeless body. Gojo, visibly changed and emotionally detached, coldly asks Suguru if he ever feels like killing the non-sorcerers celebrating around them.
Suguru resists the violent impulse, reasoning that the Star Religious Group’s leadership has already fled and the organization will soon collapse on its own. He reminds Satoru that sorcerers must act with conviction and restraint, even when consumed by grief and rage. This tense exchange plants the early seeds of Suguru’s eventual fall from grace and deepens the rift between the two friends.
